Biography

Sealed

The earliest years Eladar can remember were spent in silence. An orphan, or so we he was told, Eladar was raised among the Unspeakables, the Voodoo Clan of Iwagakure. Eladar was taught from a very young age the art of the shinobi, raised on the teachings of stealth, manipulation, chakra control and above all, tactics. During this time he recieved frequent visits from the Tsuchikage, though the Tsuchikage never spoke directly to him he would come once a month and see Eladar while talking softly in words that Eladar didn't understand to one of the Unspeakable Elders, then he would depart and another month would pass, the seasons would slowly change and the years would move forward at a steady pace, Eladar becoming three, then four. He felt excitement building in him as the age approached when he would be able to go to the Academy with the other children. When he turned five he attempted to leave the compound on the first day of the Academy for that year. An Unspeakable stopped him at the gate to the compound and sent him back inside where the Unspeakable Elder told him he would not be going to the Academy and would continue to train with them. So Eladar retired to his room to train in silence. That year as the Elder had promised, they began to train the students in the art of Ninjutsu. Among the orphans there was one child who excelled beyond all the others. His name was Keitaro, a boy with red eyes, like the fires he created with his genius early age mastery of Fire Ninjutsu. Keitaro was showered with flattery and praise from the other orphans who made up the in-training unit of the Unspeakables, all except Eladar. It was not disrespect Eladar showed Keitaro, simply disinterest. Keitaro could not handle this disinterest, thinking himself to great to be ignored even at the age of six. And so Keitaro confronted Eladar. Eladar with his pale white skin and black hair just stared at Keitaro as he berated and yelled at him, anything to get a reaction, anything, even hate or envy, was better than disinterest in Keitaros mind. So when Eladar turned and simply moved to walk away Keitaro's fiery temper ignited. Forming two seals Keitaro threw a ball of flame the size of a plate at Eladar's head. Eladar turned, but too slowly, unable to react the ball of flame collided with Eladar's head and in response his skin rippled, the chakra drawn into the skin as the fire vanished leaving instead a tattoo of flames racing across one side of Eladar's face. Eladar raised his hand to touch the unburned cheek as Keitaro gaped. The Elder appeared from the shadows before either boy could react and with a gentle chop to the back of Keitaro's neck, knocked the boy unconscious. Without saying a word the Elder then picked both boys up and carried them out into his office, sitting Eladar down on a cushion and laying down Keitaro on the floor, he knelt and waited patiently in silence, with only Eladar's big green eyes watching him and the roaring flame tattoos across his face. It was a long wait for one so young, but Eladar handled it well, trying not to fidget or move as the older Unspeakables had taught him. Eladar tried to show no emotion as he had been told, but he slipped somewhat when the Tsuchikage entered. Eladar gasped but the Tsuchikage only smiled. It was not a pleasant smile, but a pleased smile, as if something had gone his way and Eladar wasn't privy to know what. The Tsuchikage nodded to the Elder.

"Finally, our investment pays off. Send him to the location we talked about and have him trained there. Have you selected a Guardian?" spoke the Tsuchikage without taking a seat.

"I have. The most excelled Taijutsuist that we currently have. I have selected him, he has the right demeanour and the appropriate level of a skill. A genius perhaps." responded to the Elder.

"I trust you to make the right decisions. Keep me informed. And this child?" the Tsuchikage said, indicating Keitaro.

"He saw it occur, death or voodooification?" the Elder said in an even tone.

"Voodooification. Don't waste a body. We will speak again soon." and with that the Tsuchikage left as silently as he had come.

After the Tsuchikage left the Elder turned to Eladar.
"You will be going away for a time to train in a special facility. You will like it I think. It was once a bastion, a small one, of your family Eladar. We now care for it and maintain it, but perhaps one day, if you rise high enough, it will be returned to your, as is your right child."

Eladar could only nod before being sent to his room to pack, as he wondered on what voodooification was.

Eladar walked beside another boy, about the same age as him, their heads wrapped in scarfs to shield them against the dust storms of the barren plains of Earth Country. On the boys other side walked a tall man, clad in the earthen colours of an Iwa Shinobi. He had spoken not a word to them. Like them, he was an Unspeakable, and so just expected that since the Elder had ordered them here and to go with him, they would do as bid. Such was the life of an Unspeakable. They trudged for days through the mountains and valleys, plants sparse but water flowed plentifully in the valleys and for the first time Eladar was able to go swimming. He and the other boy whose name he still did not know played as children will in the water, floating and splashing each other, under the watchful eye of their mentor-to-be. Eladar remembers now, that time, during travel, as one of the happiest of his life. Finally they began to climb the great mountains in the North of Earth Country, slipping in between the thin valleys and then climbing the steep slopes. Finally, as they reached a peak, standing and staring out over the sea, Eladar assumed that they must have come the wrong way, as there was nowhere left to go but the way from which they came. Their escort sat down on the ground, staring out over the ocean and reached into a pocket. Drawing forth a scroll he laid it in front of him on the grass. He looked up to Eladar from his seated position and spoke for the first time.

"You will be able to do this one day without the aid of a scroll. Watch closely."

The scroll contained off symbols that Eladar had never seen before and as their Escort leant forward he cut his thumb and touched the circle in the middle of the paper. The ground began to rumble and then slowly, behind the escort, the ground depressed in, caving in slowly and forming stairs. The escort rolled up the scroll and motioned the two young shinobi down the stairs. As Eladar walked down he noted how musty and old the place smelled, as if it hadn't been lived in in years. No spiderwebs though, which Eladar thought was odd. The halls were smoothly shaped, Eladar thought it must've been Earth Ninjutsu to make them so clean cut, and along the walls were shapes.....he slowly realised that it was a progression and that the shapes were pictures and that together they must tell a story, but their Escort moved them along to fast for him to see what story it told. He decided he would come back soon and read the story on the wall. Moving further down the hall following their Escort they passed many doors, Eladar, trained by the Unspeakables, began counting the doors to gauge the rough distance and size of the facility. He smiled inwardly when he noted that the boy with him was doing the same. It was good to know that his training partner was adept and well taught. The Escort stopped at a final door and opened it, indicating they should walk inside. They both did and found themselves walking out onto a platform. The room sloped down from them sharply and the same above them and as Eladar surveyed the room he realised it was like the inside of a ball....a sphere shaped room, with fake trees and buildings and rocks following the sloped floor all the way round the room including the roof areas. The Escort walked up behind them and motioned to the room ever so slightly.

“This will be our training area. You will meet me here every morning. Now go pick a room for yourselves. I will see you both tomorrow morning.”

Neither of the children questioned how they would know it would be morning when they were underground so they said nothing, exiting the room and walking back down the hallway. Eladar noted the other boy seemed to take queues from him and after passing ten doors Eladar chose a room on the right, noting the other boy chose the room directly opposite his. Eladar entered his room and found it to be small and plain, but bigger than the one back at the Unspeakable Compound. He had a small chest within which to place his few belongings, which he organised neatly. The bed was a single but had a decent mattress and blanket. The desk had paper and ink Eladar noted before he exited the room, heading back down to the pictures on the wall. Sitting down at the start of the pictures he surveyed them. The first was a picture of a man with six rings hung around his neck. From that man were drawn three lines, each linking to a man beneath. The first of the three linked men had the picture of an eye with concentric rings on his chest. The second linked man had a picture of the five elements, earth, fire, wind, water and lightning on his chest. The last of the three linked men had odd swirls and pictures all over his body. Eladar noted that of the three linked men the third was done in the most detail. Eladar shifted down the hall, he saw the other boy further down the hall watching him but the boy chose to stick to the shadows and so Eladar did not involve him. The second picture showed the man with the eye facing the man with the elements. Each man had smaller pictures of people behind him and from the jagged lines in the middle Eladar thought it must mean that the two men were fighting. Above it all at the top, standing alone with just a few smaller men pictures standing around him was the man covered in swirls, as if not taking part in the conflict. As the pictures continued for the next few areas it seemed to Eladar that the conflict was continuing but the amount of men behind the man of the eye and the man of the elements was growing smaller, their numbers decreasing. Eladar moved further down trying to piece together what was happening. He came to a picture where only a few people were drawn behind the man with the eye and the man with the elements, above the man with the elements was drawn a feather, the sign of peace and above the man with the eye, a red lightning bolt, the sign of hatred and of war. Eladar understood the meaning. One had sued for peace, the other for war. Moving to the next picture he saw that the man of the elements had moved further back, but now the man covered in swirls had begun conflict with the man with the eyes. And in the next picture only two were left behind the men with their eyes, and around the three of them was a wall, as if they’d retreated to some stronghold. The next picture Eladar saw that the man with the swirls all over him was returning back towards the top of the picture, towards some mountains. There was no final picture, some drawings but Eladar couldn’t piece it together. Whoever had been drawing the picture had not been here to finish it and Eladar wondered how the story ended. Standing back up he started walking towards his room. The boy had vanished from the hall. Moving into his room Eladar lay down on his bed and pulled up the covers, wondering what secrets this new place would hold, and how it involved his family, a family he had never known. He woke in the morning to a light shining on his eyes. Blinking against the light it took him a moment to see what it was. A picture of a sun was sliding up the wall and emitting light at him. He climbed out of bed and moved over to the wall running his hand over the picture of the sun, trying to see how it moved. He noticed at the edges, though it hurt his eyes to see it, the outline of the sun had small seals written into it. He was shocked to see just how adept whoever these people were that they could make seals that lasted this long and of all things, moved of their own accord. A knock came at the door and he moved to it, grasping the handle and opening it. The Escort stood outside and tilted his head in the direction of the training room indicating what he expected Eladar to do. Eladar, without saying another word moved down the hall towards the training room, finding the other boy waiting outside the door of the training room. The Escort ushered them inside and then jumped off the landing area down to the bottom of the spherical room. Eladar and the boy followed. The Escort turned to them and spoke.
“Introduce yourselves.”

Eladar spoke first, simply saying his name “Eladar”.

The boy responded quickly with “I am Draiven.”

The Escort nodded approvingly then stepped back.

“You will now spar with each other to get to know each other, and so that I may know the extent of your abilities. Do not hold back. I repeat, do not hold back, fight as if your life depended on it.”

Eladar was shocked but he slid back and took up a basic taijutsu stance, facing the boy. Draiven slid back as well and took up a stance the like of which Eladar had never seen, with both hands pointed down and behind him. He couldn’t figure out why.....until the boy moved. Eladar had never seen anything so fast, one moment the boy was half a room away, the next he was sliding inside Eladar’s guard, palms extended, Eladar barely felt the impact before he was rocketed across the room, exploding into a wall. Eladar climbed slowly out of the debris, realising that the downward hand movement was to reduce wind resistance, maximum speed was this boys gift and Eladar was in awe. Eladar however did not expect the look on the boys face when he exited the debris, it was one of shock. Eladar stopped for a moment and realised something, from the force and power of that impact he should probably be incapacitated. But all he had was a few small cuts and developing bruises from the impact. Somehow his body had been able to handle the force of the blow. Their Escort watched on and when Draiven made to move again the Escort cut him off with a word.

“Stop, that will do for now, Eladar cannot keep up with you Draiven. You will land every blow, and exhaust your chakra very quickly maintaining your speed. Eladar’s body will take the blows and you’ll both end up needing days of recovery time. Wasted time. Come, sit. I will begin to teach you now and if you wish in your own time you may train each other.”

Eladar and Draiven came and sat in front of their Escort. He began explaining to them more complex attack methods and formations and as he did Eladar noticed how every formation was only two man and for some reason, many involved one offensive or defensive shinobi and one member supporting them in various ways or from various positions. Eladar turned to look at Draiven for a moment and realised that this boy was to be his partner and if what the Elder and the Tsuchikage had spoken about was accurate, his Guardian. Which meant most likely that Draiven would hold the positions of offensive and defensive while Eladar supported him from a distance in various arc locations around him. It felt odd to Eladar to have a partner. As an Unspeakable he had been preparing to be an assassin, a mop up crew, and very often an Unspeakable would work alone, like their Escort, but here they were, Draiven and himself, being trained and taught to work together, to act in unison, to watch each others back. It was a concept Eladar had never considered before. A team. Like a normal shinobi. A dangerous thought. The Elder had made it clear from the start that as an Unspeakable they would almost always act alone, and when they did, if they died or they failed, they would be disavowed and exiled. An Unspeakable wore no headband. They carried no Iwagakure tokens. They were shadows, they didn’t exist. And now, sitting here in a place that had once belong to his family, a family he had never known, that idea was being challenged. Or was it? Perhaps thought Eladar, my duty here is to work with him and assassinate. A team of Unspeakables. Still disavowed, still discrete, still not truly of Iwagakure. Just a mop up crew as opposed to a mop up shinobi. Eladar glanced down and noticed that some glass was lying on the floor, in it he could see his reflection and he noted that the flame tattoo that had marred his face was gone. He looked like himself again. He frowned trying to understand what was going on and coming up with nothing. Perhaps that's why he was sent here. There was something wrong with him. Or something right with him. What had the Elder always said....."In the darkest of places you can find great weapons, terrible oh yes, terrible and dangerous, but great, for whether it be the shadows or the light you walk in, greatness cares not for the illumination of others. It shines all on its own." Still thought Eladar, I have never shown any great level of skill, any special abilities. Nothing like Draivens speed. Or Keitaro's ability to create fire without handseals. So why was I sent here. What support can I give Draiven? Why do I need a Guardian? These thoughts kept flowing through his head constantly as he paid some small attention to the formation training their Escort was giving them. This went on for an hour after which their Escort stood.

"Draiven, go to the kitchen and prepare todays meals. Lunch and dinner. After that you may return."

Draiven simply nodded and stood, exiting the room. Eladar watched him leave a moment then turned back to their Escort who stood, observing Eladar quietly, in that same concentrated and yet relaxed way that the Elder had.

"Are you ready Eladar?"

"Ready for what?"

"To begin attaining your birthright. To begin to earn your right to hold this bastion of your families. To serve Iwagakure in a fashion that none else living can achieve anymore."

"I.....I don't understand."

"Of course not. The truth of your family, the truth of your heritage, it has been kept from you. It was decided the best way to keep you safe was to act like you didn't exist. That you died with your parents. But you didn't. So to make you cease to exist we changed your name and gave you to us, the Unspeakables, a haven for orphans. But we thought that the ability might surface in you. Neither of your parents had it, but both were descended from different branches of the same original family. We hoped that you would be one of them, that in you the old blood would awaken. Now we shall test how well the blood has awoken in you. Your body it seems can handle the force of Draivens palms, surprising in itself, but not proof that you have enough of your heritage to survive. Stand up Eladar, and defend yourself."

Eladar barely had time to roll out of the way of the first volley of stones but the second one came at him before he could regain his balance and then he felt it, that feeling that he had felt as Keitaro tossed the fireball at him. A feeling of.....fluidity....and as the stones came at him Eladar had just that single moment of fluidity as the stones touched his skin and were absorbed into it, leaving tattoos of whorled stones over his arms. Eladar looked from his arms up at their Escort just in time to see the pillar of stone shoot forth as big as he was to crush him. Again he felt that fluidity and stone simply touched his skin and then began to shrink as if sucked into a vacuum till all that was left was a pillar tattoo up Eladar's arm.

"Very well, you are truly of the blood. Welcome home Eladar Hateshinai."

Eladar tried not to gape. That name, written in history so fervently. The founders of Iwagakure. The opponents of the Uchiha and the Senju. One of the three greatest known Shinobi Clans. Extinct. They were extinct. He had learned about that much. They died out in their battle with the Senju. They had passed from this world. And now here he stood, in their home, named as one of them. A survivor. Hadn't that always been what the Elder called him? A survivor.

"Now, for your real training."

Eladar braced himself for another attack but instead the Escort sat down and drew out a thick scroll. Rolling it across the floor he motioned Eladar closer. Eladar moved forward and noticed what it was. It was a sealing scroll. He had read about them in class with the Unspeakables. He started to lean forward and read and found that he understood them. He reached out and touched one, a symbol of the five elements.

"This is a Seal to render the five elements almost completely sealed."

The Escort nodded

"It is, though this was not designed by a Hateshinai, it was designed by another shinobi, you're right."

"Yes, it's not complete. This would only inhibit, not fully seal." Eladar indicated the whorls around the elements and their connections, "These are incorrectly inverted. They'll only inhibit the process of managing ones elements. However if you swapped them around...." the Escort held out a dark pencil and a rubber.. "and you changed these to face inward rather than outward...." Eladar rubbed out the binding seals around the elements, changing their facing direction...."then they'd completely seal off those elements."
The Escort nodded and indicated the next Seal.

"A protective Seal. Yes....these lines here they are a binding. It's to bind something inside someone. This isn't a very strong binding Seal though. It wouldn't hold back much. Maybe some sort of chakra poison or infection. But nothing major."

"Look at the Seal at the end Eladar" responded the Escort.

Eladar slid along the ground to the last Seal on the scroll. It was different from the others. He ran his hands slowly over it, trying to understand all the intricacy that went into it. In the middle a seal of binding, but around separate seals, slowly spiraling outwards with gateways along the way, each gateway marked by a symbol until the final gateway with some kind of secondary binding behind the first, it made Eladar think of a dam and a small hole in it to relieve the pressure. He went back and counted. Nine gateways from the centre outward in total. He looked up and turned to the Escort.

"It's a cage."

"Very good Eladar."

"It's....amazing. I don't think there is much this Seal couldn't hold. The intricacy of the gateways and the pressure release......who made this?"

"That Seal was designed by your predecessors. It serves a very particular purpose. And above all else, it is that Seal you must master."

Eladar continued to study the Seal for hours. It was so in depth, so mesmerising that Eladar lost himself in the scroll, moving up and down it as he studied the various other Seals, garnering their purpose, how they worked and how to improve them, if improving was necessary, but he kept coming back to that final seal. The seal of nine gateways he had taken to calling it. Every time he went back to it he noticed something new about it, some secondary checkpoint or some alternating seal format to make a part of the form stronger. It was a work of art, Eladar could appreciate it, and somehow he felt in his bones that given time he could perform it, but where some of the seals on this sheet he could maybe do now, he couldn’t hope to perform it yet. He glanced up a moment and realised he was alone in the room, both his Escort and Draiven were absent. He couldn’t even tell how much time had passed. He wasn’t tired though, so after a short break to think on everything he had seen, he began to practise, starting with the easiest seals. He found that given a few tries he would begin to make a Seal work, finding the best way to do it. He began testing different substrates, drawing different seals in the dirt, then with charcoal or graphite and finally with some of his own blood. He noted how some reacted badly to his own blood and one Seal even left him feeling cut off from his own chakra even though he had drawn the Seal on the wall, not on himself. His blood he realised was a method of with to forge a link. It explained to him then why Kuchiyose no Jutsu, the art of summoning, required blood for seal activation. Forming that link was necessary for that sort of Seal. This was how Eladar passed his days, and days turned into months, as his Escort week after week fed him new scrolls to look over, to understand. Eladar found that mastery of those Seals however took time, sometimes just a day, sometimes a week, and for one it took a month, but still the nine gateways seal remained untouched by him. Eladar couldn’t decide if it was reverence for the Seal or whether it was fear. Draiven continued to grow as well. Eladar quickly discovered that Draiven’s speed was greater than their Escorts, and when the two sparred, it was only the Escorts experience that kept him from losing the training matches as he uses his knowledge and experience to predict Draiven’s attack routes and modes and then lured Draiven into indefensible positions. It was Eladar’s second lesson. That tactics beats power. The months passed slowly and Draiven and Eladar grew closer as they trained together. Between their Escort and Draiven, Eladar began to learn the art of Taijutsu and furthermore, Draiven began to reveal the secrets of his incredible speed and how with time and practise, Eladar could mimic or recreate such movement in himself. It was not an easy time for Eladar, nor an enjoyable time, but he understood it was necessary, he was being trained for something, though he did not know yet what that thing he was being trained for was. And so he continued like this and the months passed and then the years and before he knew it, Eladar was approaching his ninth birthday......the time was coming, the storm was approaching and Eladar stared out over the ocean as they left, the scroll tucked into his pack, the nine gates seal still not mastered. For the first time in his life he felt fear and he couldn’t explain why as they turned back to Iwagakure.

Eladar of Iwagakure Empty

Hateshinai Clan

The Senju, the Hateshinai, and the Uchiha. The three brothers, and sons of the Sage of Six paths. The history of these clans is nohing but war and peace repeated over and over throughout history itself. The Sage of Six after splitting the Ten tails into Nine Beasts, Separated his power into the three sons, he gave one the power of his perfected Body and his power over the Elements Themselves- The Second Son, Hoshiga Senju. He Gave another his power to create seals out of nothing, the ability to seal the powers of others and control the tailed beasts, and all of his vast knowledge to another- The Third Son, Koroiko Hateshinai. And Finally, he gave the power of the Rinnegan, of the ability to form Dojutsu itself, and control reality to the last- The First Son, Goromitsu Uchiha. This all happened hundreds of years ago at the creation of the World when war finally died down as the worlds chaos was halted by the sage of Six.

As time passed after the Sage of Six passed into the void, his three sons bickered over lands and ways, the First Son thought the way to continue peace was have vengeance on the world and end combat by ruling with an iron fist, blaming the world for their fathers death, and so the path of the Uchiha was chosen, of vengeance, and chaos, and murder. The Second Son thought that love and compassion was the path to creating a better world as their father had originally wanted, and so the Senju clans path had been chosen, of love and learning, protecting of others. Finally, the third Son made his decision, Death, Life, it was all natural, what mattered was learning from it to halt it in the future, he chose the path of neutrality, of learning and knowledge and so the Hateshinai's path was chosen, as peacekeepers of the world, from the Senju and Uchiha's constant war of who had the right path to save the world.

From each of these clans new were born, from the Senju the Kekkei Tota, the Advanced chakra Natures, and all clans related to Ninjutsu and the Elements were slowly born as more generations went past and Senju crossbreed with normal shinobi. Fuuinjutsu and its secrets were slowly passed through the generations, forming into Medical Jutsu and Fuuinjutsu, all clans and bloodlines dealing with such specialties now descended of them. Finally the Uchiha, the DNA in which all Dojtusu and abilities related to illusion come from ... the three clans had filled the world with their DNA in mixtures, and so many had formed the their owns stories began.

As the time passed throughout the world, and the Senju and Uchiha waged their great war's, the Hateshinai slowly grew tired of it all, and as the Two Clans exterminated each other slowly over time, the Hateshinai had enough. If they would bicker like children and destroy this world, the Hateshinai would cleanse the world of their taints, both of them. And so the war became an extermination ... starting with the uchiha, about fifty years ago, the uchiha were exterminated by the combined war of the Senju, and hundreds of assassinations by the hateshinai. Suddenly the world was off balance, as the Uchiha were amssacreds, only few remaining scattered across the world. The Hyuuga quickly swept in ... taking in their clans long ago parents, and nurturing, saving the clan as the Leaf village was ever so slowly built up by the Senju and Hyuuga, and as the Uchiha recovered, their legend continued.

However, the Sneju learned of what the Hatehshinai had done ... and as the Leaf village was founded, a final great war broke out. The Senju suck out revenge for the Uchiha of the past, as they were driven by love, and had always simply wanted peace not a massacre, held by vengeance ... the two clans exterminated one another. The great war spreading the hateshinai across the world, along with the Senju. And so the world came to know, the Three great clans, and only one survived. The Hatehsinai were extinct, as were the Senju but a few select few. The Uchiha had risen from the dead, and now were honored within their Konoha village ... and so man clans had finally formed, descended from the great three brothers after years of war and bloodshed, a final understanding seemed to have entered the world.

Seal of Movement
Description: A Seal designed by Eladar which imparts a secondary seal to any who touch him, be it offensively or defensively or simply placing a hand on him. This Seal then allows for the use of specific teleportation seals that Eladar used and also allows him to enhance the speed at which he can use some of these seals.
PvP: Any target that deals damage to Eladar, including with weapons, becomes effected by Revealed Defense (Cooldown: 1d3 rounds). May use a teleportation jutsu twice in one round with a 1d4+1 round cooldown.

Seal of the Guardian
Description: A Seal designed by Eladar whose purpose is to speed up his battle preparations. It is designed to link to various other non-permanent seals on his body and activate them on it's own when Eladar's physiological state indicates combat. It responds to Eladar's own desires, linked to his emotions. This makes him able to activate two seals simultaneously, however it is limited to Eladar in it's effective seal usage.
PvP: Eladar may use a support Fuinjutsu as a free action. (1 round cooldown)
Note: All Support Fuinjutsu will be noted so in their description and are defined as Fuinjutsu that do not directly negatively effect another player.
