Al we all know, these apply once, now; simply put. Why? In an ability, if you are given an amount of extra damage, and it only hurt the first time you strike with a thing that has -2- basic attacks, why not apply more than once? ALTHOUGH. This can lead to +8d4 or +4d8 damage -if- you hit. That's the biggest integer. If.

I'm going to be making revisions, and please tell me your suggestions in this thread; your opinion does matter. Now give us numbers, and if you make a stupid suggestion, the numbers will be crunched and we will make you look stupid, so think before you post.

For clarification. If you are given +4d4 passive damage bonuses, they apply once if you have multi-hit or more than one attack/round.

I think for the sake of keeping it balanced we should keep it once a round. RP-wise it may not be fully explainable, but I guess we need to live with that for the sake of balance. We just got out HP raised because everybody dealt too much dmg..so yeah.

Actually, it can be justified RP wise. Think of it this way. If you get hit more than once by an attack, the first time you get hit, you might not be expecting it. So, the first time you are hit, you are a little less aware, or might be surprised by the attack. After that, you have a chance to clench up, or draw arms up, etc. To lessen the damage of future hits.

IC Justification enough?

Well, since the passive damage should be some sort of reflection on the attacker's abilities, maybe I went at it from the wrong angle. How about saying the attacker has become adept at striking vital points, and each round, you have a knack to have one of the attacks during a multi-attack hit a pressure point, which would cause more damage to the defender?

Just trying to help in some way.

^ I like this guy already =P, yeah i do agree with YDKM, it can be explained icly like that say..if somone had medical expertise and kenjutsu/Taijutsu ect..but there are multiple other ways to go about it aswell.

Once PER Round PER target.

A.K.A mutiple targetting jutsu does 2d8 Initial tdamage. EACH target takes 2d8 + 4d4

Also, you have to remember that multiple attacks are usually speed etc.
