The night sky was clearer than ever this night, and the stars shined brighter than what Arietta was used to. It was almost funny, she's been here a thousand times and never before has she seen the night like this before. The young kunoichi layed on the grass in the Kumogakure Cliffs Edge. Surrounded by a small field of flowers around her. Despite the chilly weather and high altitude, Arietta wore her Sekai Gown. The amethyst gown was tight fitting at the torso, showing off her womanly features and curves, but the bottom was loose, and flowing. Even when standing up straight, the bottom of the gown dragged against the ground. As she layed, the gown was spread against the grassy ground, and her arms were spread on each side of her as she stared up at the night sky with her soft and innocent cyan eyes.
Turning her head to the side, she'd catch sight of a white blossom that stood out amongst its peers of red, blues, and purples. "You're just like me..." Arietta said quietly in a voice that was just below of a whisper, as though she just breathed the words. Her full, red painted lips parted as she forced a smile looking at the blossom. It reminded her of the song her mother sang her to sleep. Arietta took in a deep breath as she slowly began to sing. Her voice echoing through empty cliffs. Her angelic voice drawing in attention as houses near the cliff turned their lights on and peeked their head out the window to watch the young noble. Her voice was filled of melancholy and pain, but it still seemed pleasant to her.

Wild flower blossoming
I beg of you tell me this so I know too
Why do people fight?
They all act as if it's right
Don't they know
That's no
Way to live
Valiant flower blossoming
What can you see?
When ...you look down on me
Why can't people say
That they're sorry for the way
That they fought
I thought
We once could
When the sky has cleared
And rains have passed
I still won't forget the past
You are not alone on your own
I remember you back then
Trembling in front of me
Crying deep inside silently
When you see loved ones withering
What do you do with your remaining time
When your leaves can't speak a word
And your thoughts cannot be heard
How do you convey your love
Ahh
When the summer's sun is hiding and
Winds are harsh against our backs
Everything seems to overlap
I'll sing in your memory
All the times you've spent with me
We've lost your name but I'll sing for you
As her voice drew to an end, she stared up at the night sky once more. Her eyes filled with pain, she rested the white blossom against her chest, hugging it close to her. "Valiant Blossom... Don't ever trust a man who tells you to believe in yourself... But then again, you can't blame those walking away if you couldn't fight to make them stay. So be strong... and fight for what you want." She rested the blossom back against the other flowers. Holding out her left hand, she'd run chakra down to her palm as it glowed with a gentle green hue. Arietta manipulated her healing chakra to plant the blossom back into the ground.
"Arietta-hime...." A deep and stern voice called out to her. A man dressed in a silk Gi, and long flowing white hair. "It's one in the morning. Forgive me, but I don't think I can prolong it. We have to head back." The man said, as he bowed his head respectfully to her.
"Jurai..." She sat up to look at him. Her cyan eyes already starting to form tears as they pierced through him. "Please, just one more hour?" Her voice was soft and melodic as she spoke. Despite it's low volume it floated through the wind and into his ear.
It was almost as though Jurai could feel her pain. The song, and the look in her eyes was much to similar. Everyone knows what it's like to love and lose. Jurai shook his head and face palmed, as he hung his head in defeat. "Very well, one more hour... but not another more." He'd turn and walk off to give her some more privacy. But no to far in order to keep an eye on her. He'd stop short and look over his shoulder. "You still have your arranged marriage, Arietta-hime.... You have a responsibility to bear a child with our Kekkei Genkai. No matter how much your heart aches... This responsibility is yours. "
"I didn't forget..." She said to herself, realizing it was too late to respond to Jurai. Arietta curled into a ball as she layed against the ground. Facing the white blossom. "There's no running... No matter how much I hid in his arms, and forgot my troubles with his smiles... I still wouldn't have been able to escape. Would I? Maybe it was for the best."
