"I live... for a feeling, the sound... I am hearing.."

Kurai would stand amongst the carnage. What carnage, some may ask? Why of course... his Squads Carnage. He was ten years old, his blade was held loose, tip in the ground, his pink hair stained with blood shimmering in the glow of the fire around him. He was smiling ear to ear. His squad had been given details for their graduation. The eradication of a Village of problematic persons. Only, he as the Squad Leader, had been given another mission on top of such. He cast his eyes up to the sky as his Sensei's words came to him.
"Kurai... eradicate your Squad. They are corrupt. I can see the Poison in them. Eliminate them before they eliminate you."
So there he stood, the light around him cast from fire. In the darkness, the fire could be seen all the way in Kumogakure, where upon the highest peak, his Sensei stood. He knew he had done it. He would look down at the three other kids, crumpled to the ground, various wounds in their bodies. Shindou, Kazu. Nine years old, taken at birth. Yotsuki, Raiker. Twelve years old, taken at the age of Seven and recommended by his Father. Kurokune, Miata. Eleven years old, taken at birth. They had all suffered the same fate as the rest of the village. Saved by Kurai.
He would quietly begin the process of wrapping their bodies up in a blanket, before dousing them in gasoline and setting fire to them. His Sensei had already gone through the records in Kumogakure, erasing them from existence. They were only a faint memory to each other, save Raiker. Raiker had family... But, Raiker's family knew the consequences and would be informed that Raiker died during the mission.
Kurai could do only one thing, grin. His teeth covered in blood, his blood. He had a wound in his stomach. He would turn from the burning mess, and walk away slowly. His journey would be three days long back to Kumogakure. And he would stir in the mess... he would boil in the pot. And over and over again, all he could hear himself saying was
Look around tonight, And see the distant night, Riding on the waves, The sound that it creates, The melody has come, to capture everyone, It makes us all the same, The sound without a name...
