The Sage of the Sands, the Windswept Wayfarer, the Hemmed Squall. Tami has been called all these on her travels as she travelled the land in search of her destiny as a potential Senin. The raw force she has expressed has had stories develop from the farthest isles of water country to the highest peak of lightning country. Most of them are probably exaggerated by word of mouth however. Tami doesn't believe herself to be some mystic hero; rather she feels she is simply a human given much responsibility; requiring her to find learn as much as she can in her lifetime. Thankfully, her monkey allies are there to back her up when plans go astray.

This young woman grew up in the ranks of Sunagakure, being the daughter of a special jounin and a non-ninja blacksmith. She might've taken six years to complete academy training; she graduated to chuunin just six months after that. After a brief stumbling block, she assumed the role of Jounin and sees herself as a teacher and mentor to many of the new generation joining the ranks of shinobi.

Taishingen Martial Arts

Translated to 'The Art of Solemn Malice', this martial arts originates from Sunagakure of the Wind Country; It's founder being Tami Nihano. This Martial Arts style promotes flexibility and Longevity with it's focus on balance of mind and body. It revolves around two 'paradigms' of attack; Yin promotes strategy play and moving your opponent into vulnerable positions whilst Yang promotes singular, destructive attacks. Components from across the ninja world have combined into the style now wielded. The Chakra control empowered taijutsu from the current Hokage, Stances and gestures from the Hyuuga, Training practices from the Shindou and secrets hidden within the jungles of the Monkey Clan.

Tami is the only master current and seems very select of who she will teach. She seeks those who have skill in both ninjutsu and taijutsu, those who fit her moral and philosophical views and those she deems as 'true ninja'. Those coming to ask for her lessons have been turned away despite obvious skills; so be prepared for your test against her.

Mastery of Balance
Taishingen promotes the equal development of both body and mind considering the chakra requirements to pull of the various feats of strength. As one masters Taishingen they find that this constant practice of their whole being generally improves their skills as a whole:

Academy Student: +0 to STR/WIS, +9CP/HP
Genin: +1 to STR/WIS, +11CP/HP
Chuunin: +1 to STR/WIS, +13CP/HP
Jounin: +2 to STR/WIS, +15CP/HP[/spoiler]

Yin Stance
As stated before, the Yin stance promotes ninjutsu and setting up of advantages. This manifests as set of tricks, feints and jukes that mislead or set-up their opponents into specific situations. It can also be variations of ninjutsu or taijutsu techniques that weren't originally tied to Taishingen. A true master of this martial art will know when and where to apply the Yin stance strategies to the most effect:

PVP: Users of Taishingen may select one of the following effects as a free action before their attack roll. This costs a certain amount of CP depending on the selected effect. You may add these effects only to Ninjutsu or Taijutsu. These effects count as Taijutsu. This ability has a 2 round cooldown.

Academy
Aim – 1CP: Increase crit range by 19-20, if there is no crit, +2 damage.
Feint – 2CP: +1 to ATK/DEF. -3 to damage

Genin
Widen – 2CP: Increase number of effected opponents by 1 per 2CP (Damage is split equally between those hit)
Focus – 3CP: Add STR bonus as DR pierce (4 Max)

Chuunin
Slough – 3CP: Damage dealt by this attack requires double the regularly healing.
Impact – 4CP: -1 to ATK/DEF roll for +3 damage

Jounin
Stymie – 5CP: converts quarter the damage dealt to CP damage (Cannot be used on a B-rank or higher.)

Yang Stance
Considering the open ended ways of this martial arts; there are no set techniques for the Yang Stance be be learnt. Instead, pupils are encouraged to develop their own; customizing them down to the elements they use and ultimately how they choose to employ the style of Taishingen.

All Taishingen practitioners gain 2 D/C/B rank and 1 A-rank. D and C ranks are learnt on creation, B and A must be learned at a later date.

Description: Tami as trained her body to react specifically when her chakra is disturbed by genjutsu. As a reflex action, similar to a gag or knee jerk. Her body aches with major pin and needles like pain before surging adrenaline to ignore incoming damage.
PVP: Defend against Genjutsu. if failed, user gains 3dr vs. HP/CP damage for the duration of the genjutsu.

Description: An evolution of Dead-zone Palm makes this technique particularly brutal. The user first coats their fists in strong earth chakra before striking the solar plexus of the target in two places parallel to one another. A burst of air chakra is then expelled that has enough punch to exit through the back of the target; dealing internal damage along the way.
PVP: Deals Normal Taijutsu Damage +1, but Bypasses all DR.

Description: An evolution of Dead-zone Phoenix. This technique creates wind orbs typically used to produce the previously mentioned technique. They are held behind the user and launched by a single thought. This technique is used to provide support to allies, keep up pressure or exploit elemental differences.
PVP: User gains a number of 'wind orbs' equal to their STR bonus damage. These orbs deal the user's WIS bonus damage in damage, and for an additional 2 CP, gain any of the users bonuses to Ninjutsu Damage. The user may make free attack rolls to launch these orbs but never more than 1 per person per turn.

Description: By entering a meditative stance the user is able to force their chakra throughout their bodies, causing themselves to harden and repair their damage. Rapidly regenerating and causing themselves to become far more resistant to physical attacks of all sorts.
