Akizanami is a girl whose origins remain a complete mystery to all, even herself – where she came from, who her family were, let alone her parents or why she was found by the borders of Earth Country all alone. At the Age of 3, she was put into Iwagakures orphanage, where suitable individuals whose downtrodden lives and seeds of darkness implanted in their hearts would be chosen for a program created by a renown Individual who simply goes by, “The Elder”. The Elder himself chose Akizanami for her large potential to study under him as a student among other orphans whose lives offer little light – but he would offer some solice for such lonliness in a false family called the Unspeakables.
By the age of 6, Akiza has shown immense talent in the ways of the Elder and his teachings. Rising to top of her class, and potential that he could foresee would possibly one day rival even his own. Inside such a tiny girl, would lay a chained beast that yearns to be set free – but before that day could come it must be tamed to obey its master. It would take another 3 years before Akizanami would be put into a special assignment, and set into a foster family in the Land of Spring as a cover while she would study within Kirigakure. She would serve as a sleeper agent within the village, until the day that the Elder would call upon her once more.
ACADEMY -
At the Age of 10, just a few months since settling in with the family they have shipped her off to join Kirigakure’s academy. Again being swept away by her duties and obligations, she would try to find a place but not knowing of love or kindness or a family she simply did what a young girl would in her age and that was – hope for an escape. One day on a bridge, she would have tried to take her life if it wasn’t for a young boy who had just recently become genin. His name was Yoichi, a true prodigy in Suiton jutsu, and right now would be trying to talk to Akizanami in what she was planning to do hanging off the bridge. Where other individuals would not be able to see what was going on, the large crowd of passerbys continueing into and out of the village – Akizanami figured noone would notice her attempt in leaving this world, noone did except for Yoichi.
In his eyes, and his words, Akizanami would find true concern in Yoichi’s heart – a first connection she would make in her life. Giving doubt she would find a place to call home, Yoichi assures her she would find one with him if she simply came back on the otherside of the railing. She took a change with Yoichi, and she had no regrets. Eventually Another girl would have spotted this occurance, her name was Hana and in the following weeks would offer a hand of friendship towards the isolated Akizanami. Her second friend was made, and in the up coming months she was like a sister as the pair did almost everything together. Hana was a strong, independent, and beautiful young girl – everything that Akizanami wished to be. They would spend much of their time together for the next 3 years.
It was revealed to her just before graduation that civil war has broken within Spring Country, Kirigakure had returned Akizanami to her foster parent after refusing to aid in the political affairs of the country. It would be not to long before she found out Yoichi also had to leave the village, though the pair would keep in touch via letters. While civil war waged, Akizanami finds out that it was between 3 factions and that her parents were in league of the coup to take control over Land of Spring – and in a few months they did. She would be present to witness the public execution of the former Land of Spring’s Daimyo and his family. There was girl her age chained as she would be dragged to the gallows along with her family, in her eyes… Akizanami would see a reflection of herself, a girl who has nothing and desperately seeking an escape after everything was taken from her. Trying to turn away before the child would be executed, her adoptive father tells her to watch if she is to ever become strong enough to lead a country. She must stare at the evils of this world, and accept it for what they are – an inevitable thing as we all succumb to death in one form or another.
It would take 2 weeks after attaining power in the land of Spring, that the parents have shipped her off to Kumogakure to finish her training. Partially by order and influence of the Elder and partially disdain at Kiri for not assisting them in the coup.
GENIN -
By the age of 14, Akizanami would graduate the academy in Kumogakure. Her friend Hana had graduated 1-2 years prior. Letters with Yoichi would be few and far apart, now that he has become a notorious shinobi in his own path for legendary status. Although distant from her friends, Akizanami is willing to try to live once more with a fresh start. Though knows this will be a very difficult if neigh impossible task with odd Kumo shinobi like that of Koga, who is apparently trying to woe her by insulting her… A form of flattery she is not accustomed too and likely never will. But she too wishes to gain a name for herself within the village, before the Elder would take her for other dastardly missions. What lies within Kumogakure is unknown, but she will face it head on with little to no remorse to those that stand in her way.
