Amehenshoku
[/b]]Forged in Steel Country, this beautiful blade was comissioned for the Kumogakure Jounin, known as Hikaru for his work personally for the Daimyo himself, a debt that had been grown to immense proportions by the assassination. Pattern-welded by the Daimyo`s own personal smith and to Hikaru`s own designs from rare materials harvested by Hikaru himself from the four corners of the earth, the combinations of metal produced had yet to be even given a name.

The pattern that resulted, startled the smith - a pattern that matched the fall of rain, and a blade sharper then the likes that had been seen during this generation, that had taken four years to forge. When they presented the blade, they were startled to discover that the blade itself was slightly shorter then needed to match the Jounin. While he would wield the blade, Hikaru reassured them it was not meant to remain in his hands. Bowing to the Daimyo, he calmly reassured him that the boon, was indeed perfect in all its glory but that this, would be the last time that they would meet.

For all his love of children, Hikaru was never truely an Academy Instructor. His face, all but his beautiful eyes was naught but a lie. Ten years older then what was in his file, Hikaru was ANBU, a man that was bred to be an assassin whose very face and life was a lie made to be closer to the woman he was assigned to guard from the moment her bloodline had arose, to keep her secret as an investment in Kumogakure - to prevent her from ever thinking of leaving.

Hikaru had never meant to fall this deep into his own lies, the same way he had never intended to love Uchiha Saika. The false life had brought him peace he had never known, from the wife he had taken, to friend he had made in Yuurei, the family that had accepted him whole heartedly and the children at the Orphanage who called him Onii-san.

The way that he knew he would devestate her with his death, and swore that he would protect her, even when his heart finally gave way to the Akkinai Fuukurau.

The Seal had laid claim to his life, five years prior preventing the assassination of the Raikage by taking the what should have have been an instantly fatal blow. Quick thinking - Hikaru had managed seal the majority of his own soul in his body through a fuuinjutsu that took the life of two of the enemy in response - and continued the fight despite the excruiating pain as if nothing had happened.

The Fuuinjutsu, later classified as a Kinjutsu by the Raikage, was not enough to prevent the eventual death when it was discovered the Akkinai Fuukurau continued to eat at it determined to have the rest of his soul. The same very day, he decided to completely surrender to his desires, and live the false life as his own.

Cashing in all his favors he had acquired, Hikaru took the blade as the primary material for his last and final work, the perfect canvas in which to make the sword that would protect the whole reason he desired to live rather then take that fatal blow head-on. Applying all his skill, and with his beloved`s blood and his chakra Hikaru created what he called the Tomoe Seal, a fuuinjutsu that would enable her to utilize the most basic of instincts of the Sharingan without the risk of exposure by channeling chakra into the blade. It would serve her as faithfully as he did, to protect her as he did, by striking down any who would bring harm to her and her cause.

Loyalty, even after death.

And in the night, five years precisely - Hikaru gave one last kiss, to the one he would give his life for and died cradling that which mattered most in life, in the bed that they shared.
