These are the known ninja ranks that can be obtained by a ninja within the world of Naruto. On our server Ranks don't always measure power, however what is in fact important is that the higher rank you are the more experienced you are and the more stamina and knowledge you hold.

_____________________________________________________________

Academy Students: The academy is where would-be ninja start; they are not actually considered ninja until they graduate. Academy students take formal and practical tests of all sorts and are taught basic ninja skills, such as martial arts, techniques, physical fitness and the way of the ninja. Basic weapon usage, such as kunai and shuriken, is commonly taught. Elementary ninja techniques, though they vary from village to village, are also taught.
Rank Information: Academy Students On-Creation are Leveled up by a Dm to be Level 10. They Gain their First Base Element. They Gain a +0 to their HP, and +5 to their CP. They May known up to D-Rank Jutsu.
Teaching Abilities: None at All.
Note: It is not required to start out as an Academy Student, However if you do then you will gain Permanent bonuses to your character for being willing to put in the time, effort, and Roleplay. On-Graduation you will be Made level 16, Instead of the Normal level 15 for Genin. As well, you will gain a Permanent +6 to all Learning Rolls for the rest of your Characters Lifespand.

_____________________________________________________________

Genin: Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become Genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are the lowest rank and are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or experienced genin are sent on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work – though they generally have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved, especially since their Jounin level sensei often accompanies them. Recently, Konohagakure has been shorthanded in upper-level ninja ever since the attack by Otogakure and Sunagakure, and has been forced to occasionally send Genin on higher-ranked missions, often without the supervision of a Jounin.
Rank Information: Genin On-Graduation/Creation are Leveled up by a Dm to be Level 15. They Gain a +5 to their HP, and +10 to their CP. They May known up to C-Rank Jutsu.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E-Rank Jutsu.
Note: All Character may Start out as Genin Automatically.

_____________________________________________________________

Advanced Genin: Advanced Genin are still the lowest tier of official Shinobi, however they are far more experienced then normal. Examples of this would be Naruto, and Sasuke at the end of the 'Naruto' Show, before it became ''Naruto: Shippuden'. They are stronger, Faster, more skilled and can even take on weaker chunin, but they are still infact, Genin.
Rank Information: Genin must be DM approved for Advanced Genin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character smut be at least 1 Month old irl. When approved they are Leveled up by a Dm to be Level 20. They Gain a +10 to their HP, and +15 to their CP. They May known up to B-Rank Jutsu.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E/D-Rank Jutsu.
Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This rank is NOT required to become Chunin.

_____________________________________________________________

Chunin: Chuunin are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chuunin have reached a level of maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Some of them, like Iruka Umino, function as teachers and others, like Shikamaru Nara, serve as team leaders in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilize the skills of the shinobi under their command to the maximum effect. Chuunin are typically sent on C or B-rank missions. To become a Chuunin, a Genin participates in a large examination, known as the "Chuunin Exams," with his or her team.
Rank Information: Genin/Advanced Genin must be DM approved for Chunin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character must be at least 2 Months old irl. When approved they are Leveled up by a DM to be Level 25 (Chunin Exams allow you to bypass this 2 Months old Rule, but they wont happen Often). They Gain their Second Base Element. They Gain a +15 to their HP, and +20 to their CP. They May known up to A-Rank Jutsu. Rewarded +2 'Rank Up Mods*' See bottom of page for details.

_____________________________________________________________

Advanced Chunin: Advanced Chunin are those of Chunin whom have become stronger then their peers through training and time, more experienced and skilled then normal chunin, more enduring with more stamina but not quite to the point of being able to become Special Jounin just yet in Skill. These are the more expirenced, such as Iruka and others whom lead the Academy as Teachers and the like.
Rank Information: Chunin must be DM approved for Advanced Chunin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character must be at least 3 Months old irl. When approved they are Leveled up by a DM to be Level 30. They Gain a +20 to their HP, and +25 to their CP. They May known up to A-Rank Jutsu.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E/D/C/B-Rank Jutsu.
Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This Rank is NOT required to become Special Jounin.

_____________________________________________________________

Special Jounin: Special Jounin are ninja who, rather than all-around Jounin training, have Jounin-level ability in a single area or skill, much like warrant officers of real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular Jounin when their services are needed. One example of a Special Jounin would be Ibiki Morino. This character's unique ability to completely understand the workings of the human mind makes him a Jounin-level interrogation expert. Ebisu is another Special Jounin that specializes as an elite teacher of young pre-Genin ninja before becoming Konohamaru's sensei in Part II.
Rank Information: Chunin/Advanced Chunin must be DM approved for Special Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character must be at least 4 Months old irl. When approved they are Leveled up by a DM to be Level 35. They Gain a +25 to their HP, and +30 to their CP. They May known up to S-Rank Jutsu. Rewarded +3 'Rank Up Mods*' See bottom of page for details.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E/D/C/B/A/S-Rank Jutsu.
Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This Rank is NOT required to become Jounin.

_____________________________________________________________

Jounin: Jounin are generally highly-experienced ninja with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced Jounin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the most difficult). They may also carry out these missions alone. They are sometimes assigned as sensei for three-person teams of Genin. It is as of yet unknown what one has to undergo to become one, although it is mentioned in the Naruto Anime Profiles databook that Jounin are appointed, however there was also a mention of a Jounin exam in the Kurama filler arc. Most Jounin are able to use at least two types of elemental jutsu.
Rank Information: Chunin/Advanced Chunin/Special Jounin must be DM approved for Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character must be at least 6 Months old irl, as well you must have One main Mod of 20, a Secondary of 15, and a Tiertary of 10. When approved they are Leveled up by a DM to be Level 40. They Gain their Third Base Element. They Gain a +30 to their HP, and +35 to their CP. They May known up to S+ Rank Jutsu. Rewarded +3 'Rank Up Mods*' See bottom of page for details.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E/D/C/B/A/S/S+ Rank Jutsu.
Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.

_____________________________________________________________

Kage/S-Rank: Those who have achieved the title of Kage are the leaders of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. There may be exceptions, however; for example, a ninja may be the most powerful at the time of being installed as Kage, but may become less powerful upon aging, eventually being surpassed by a more youthful ninja. S-Rank Shinobi are just the same, leveled on Par with Kage they are insanely powerful, some even known to be able to take on the Weaker Bijjun without any backup, they are the strongest of Shinobi and the most feared and respected by both allies and enemies alike.
Rank Information: Jounin must be DM approved for Kage/S-Rank, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, but your character must be at least 10 Months old irl, as well you must have One main Mod of 25, a Secondary of 20, and a Tiertary of 15 (Or 2 25 Mods, and One 10 Mod). They Gain a +50 to their HP, and +50 to their CP. They May known up to S+ Rank Jutsu. Rewarded +3 'Rank Up Mods*' See bottom of page for details.
Teaching Abilities: May Teach E/D/C/B/A/S/S+ Rank Jutsu.
Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.

*Rank Up Mods - These are Mods given to you when you achieve the Rank, by a DM that is Ranking you up. You simply inform the DM where you want the mods placed, and you will then be granted such. Aka: You just got Chunin, so +2 Rank up Mods, you want your Wisdom, your second mod, Raised from a 10 mod to a 12 Mod. (So a base 4 mod to 6 mod.)

Missing Shinobi: Missing-nin (抜け忍, nukenin; English TV "Rogue Ninja"; Literally meaning "runaway shinobi") are ninja who left their village without the intention of returning and severing ties with the said village, often because they have committed criminal acts or to pursue other personal gains.
